Reach the Heart Moment: Come to the Altar

Published on:

When the people of God were on their journey out of Egypt to the promised land, they had several encounters with God.

Altars were built as reminders of what God had done in their life at that place and that time. Throughout the desert, for 40 years, they established altars as a memorial of the things God had done.

There have been many times that God met me when I needed Him most for direction or a miracle that as I look back on that occasion, there is much that stands out - the need, the answer, and even the place where I experience God at work.

It is not necessary that every experience we have with God be in church.

There are many places where you can have an experience with God. In your home and where you work are some places where you can bring the presence of God. Those places become an altar experience, a memory, and a reminder of what God has done.

Why not talk to someone about Christ? Pray for a friend and ask God to do miracles wherever you are. God said to Joshua in Joshua 1:5,

“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Right where you’re at, why not take a moment and remind yourself of all God has done in your life.

I’m Pastor Cal, and I pray you reach a heart through this Reach the Heart Moment.
