I heard of a bumper sticker that said,

“Honk once if you love Jesus. Honk twice if you have seen Elvis.”

Somewhat corny, but very indicative of who many seem to put their trust in. I don’t doubt that many people still believe Elvis is alive and yet believe God is dead.

For those who see Elvis as the King of Rock-n-Roll, remember this, Jesus is the King of Kings, and there is a lot more evidence that points to a living God than there is for a living Elvis. The Bible tells us that on the third day after Jesus was buried, three ladies found the grave empty, and then Jesus appeared to more than 500 people before He ascended into heaven. The last time anyone looked, the grave of Elvis was still covered. No credible person to this day has ever seen Elvis alive after his death.

Jesus is alive today, and He evidences Himself by what He does in the lives of people.

Every week I never cease to be amazed by some people who have made Jesus their Savior and Lord. The real evidence that Jesus is alive is by what you witness in your life and the life of your family and friends.

Why not invite a living Jesus to be King of your life and experience the evidence yourself?
