Reach the Heart Moment: Walk the Walk

Many people picture God as some old man who can’t wait to hurl a lightning bolt at us because of every sin or mistake we make.

It is true that God is always watching us, but for our good and not for when we mess up. Look at what 2 Chronicles 16:9 says of God’s attitude toward us:

“For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.”

Then, Revelation 3:19 tells us that

“The people God loves He calls to account - He corrects and guides so that they’ll live at their best.”

Phonies are common enough, but what our world really needs is to see believers who walk the walk.

Everything we do should exhibit Christ and God is looking for those who will live out their Christian faith and present Jesus to their friends, even when we don’t feel qualified to do so.

God does not call the equipped, but He equips those He has called.

If you know Jesus, and you sincerely want to be used of God, He will! Don’t worry, if you’ve failed the Lord. All you need to do is repent and ask His forgiveness. As a follower of Jesus Christ, we have been given the responsibility of being His witness. God is looking for people with a commitment, who will wholeheartedly serve Him, without excuses.

I’m Pastor Cal, and I pray you reach a heart through this Reach the Heart Moment.
